My Dear Loyal and Devoted Friends (That Have Stood by me for so Many Years),  

The time has come for me to make this announcement.  I wanted YOU, those that have been my true friends to hear from me this day as it relates to my future career in show business as well as any involvement with other business projects.  So many wonderful things have happened lately to me and my family.  I have looked at all the opportunities that have presented themselves, and they are all wonderful.  As much as I would love to do all the things that I wish to do in my heart it's just impossible. 

I know that a new chapter is being written in my life and with total faith I will continue to move in the direction I am being lead towards. I also feel my mother's spirit very close to me as I start this new journey. I know my struggles as well as my personal achievements have made up the whole so far in my earthly progression. All my pain and suffering, even my losses were all perfect for me. I see things so much clearer today than I have in times past. To walk in complete faith knowing that my LORD and SAVIOR is aware of me and will direct my every move creates absolute peace that knows no bounds.  

I want to let all of you know that the tour with my brother's in the UK will be my last one. I am not speaking for anyone else in the family,  just ME.  I intend to give this tour my all, to sing the songs and relive all the good times we've shared together over the years. I will honor all the tour dates that are currently on the tour schedule for 2005/2006 and the Wales Event. I'm also announcing that the 2006 schedule that Teresa has put up in Club Vegas will be officially canceled.

I will continue to be involved with many productions and occasional events when called upon by my partners. I will also be working with certain individuals to help build and create opportunities for those who are in need in many parts of the world.  This involvement will be an important work that I am excited about. 

I decided to tell you this information on my web site so it would be an official statement directly from me.  I have asked Teresa Heard to prepare a written response if necessary to help anyone in need of clarification.  Teresa has been working tirelessly for so many years and will continue to do so. She has worked to make sure what I was trying to do in my life got out to everyone on a timely basis.  She has done a great job and deserves a lot of praise this day for her efforts.  I do not intend to just say good bye, I will be actively working on special projects that are important, that will bring joy and satisfaction to many.

I want you all to know that I have prayed long and hard about this day and  I am very happy and content.  I also want each of you to know that my love for you will always be paramount in my HEART. For that is where all my energy, knowledge, and feelings reside as it relates to each of you. You have been my friends and I have listened to your words over the years.  I care about you and will always cherish the many talks we have had over the years.

I hope that each of you will understand this announcement and be at peace.  I hope my brothers continue to perform for many years to come.  Each of them are precious to me and are great entertainers.  It's time to move in a new direction. Trust me,  I will be ready for this UK tour with great zeal and energy.  Be ready to rock one last time in the UK with your old friend.....I love you!
